If someone loans a motorcycle and says it has insurance but it does not and the borrower has an accident can the owner sue the borrower?

[Edit]

Sure, why not

If you reside in the US anyone can sue anyone for anything. In this case they could both sue each other. Don't know who will win but they sue.
