The ethical concerns have a lot to do with the moral rapport amidst persons. Its true when Fritzsche mentioned that the issues not involving moral relationship were devoid of ethical concern (2008).I also strongly agree to this view. Here is an attempt from my side having selected to the MNC for the new challenging task, to evaluate various issues of moral and ethical nature. To keep pace with the globalization and find a place in the business field its very essential to know whether the moral things become ethical and that which is considered immoral becomes unethical

To begin with the term Ethical originated from its Greek root "ethos "or "ethikos" which means character and Moral the Latin root "mos "or "moralis" means customs. Thus it could be seen that in broader terms in English its association is to that which has connection with conducting rightly or wrongly. The character connotation has personal attribution where as custom connote groups or even society. Their violation becomes wrong according to the situation or frames of references (Ethics vs. morality).The dictionary meaning of ethics is the selection of conduct's standard as philosophical guidelines. There are various forms of ethics like the business ethics, virtue ethics and social ethics. Ethical judgments are mainly the deontological which concern with duties as well as obligations and the eudaemonist judgment which concentrates on individual fineness and quality living (Fritzsche, 2008). Meaning of term moral is conformation to standards of right actions (Larry, 2007).Thus a good knowledge of ethics would not just lead to morally right actions but give the option of giving explanation to acts governed by situation.

Conceptually ethical and moral is indistinguishable. Definition of ethics describes it as closely involving with good, bad, moral duties and obligation. Morality according to definition is compliance to principles of correct individual conducts (Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, 2003). However there is a big difference between the two basically since morality has human condition concerns which determine the individuals right or wrong where as ethical theory is all about the reason and elucidation concerning moral perspective including systems or procedures (Ethics definition).Here again context has a major role to play. Thus morality has accord of authorities whether it is of culture or religion while the ethical acceptance arises out of the personal principle. Moral is a guiding behavior principles thus it can also be said that the unethical involves being away from the accepted values of the societal and proficient behaviors. For example there exist a few cultures which accept the act of theft for food where as other culture thinking that theft is theft which could have no moral justification. Cultural diversity has a lot of variation in their moralities also. Eye for eye and tooth for tooth judgments are moral for some but are considered immoral by few others. Like polygamy is acceptable by some culture whereas only monogamy is acceptable in some other culture. Ethics allows freedom of choice and there is lesser dependence on the social or religious judgments (Lary, 2007).

The issues of determining being moral are being ethical or being immoral would mean being unethical is by itself a semantic issue. Bribing, coercions, deceptions, stealing and indiscrimination are various issues mainly categorized as ethical issues according to Fritzsche (2008). Judging moral values of decisions involve better understanding of the various moral or ethical dimensions. Moral principle prohibits lies, thefts and murder. To know the dimension we can resort to consequentialistic principle concentrating on the final result like egoism or utilitarianisms, the non consequentialistic principle like that of the rights or justice principle or social contract theories recognizes moral issues for reaching the final decision as to what is right or wrong(Fritzsche,2008). All these would help in solving the various dilemmas.

I personally believe in keeping equilibrium within oneself by being both moral and ethical as I believe it's the best way to live happily. Thus we can make ourselves worthy of living a good life. Personnel ethics is determined by oneself and it goes well with society and religion. Being moral has a relation with the actions exhibited by the person very much responsible for knowing the right or wrong, a harmless deed. Ethics deals with theories of right and wrong concerning behavior forming the basic principles being fair. In my opinion the Moral theory or the normative ethics has been the heart of ethics, but ethics is a very broad subject and has evolved way past just the moral theory into descriptive, relational and applied ethics.
