Typically, steroids are adminstered in a measured, closed-end course that should start with a loading dose and be tapered down to zero over a period of time. Depending on the length and dosage of the course, you should see BP returning to nomal over the next week or so. If you don't get that info to your doc. Note also that whatever caused the need for steroids may be causing some of the hypertension too.
