Your six year old guinea pig is considered a Senior now. Talk to your vet and he will recommend a somewhat different diet that will be easier on his digestive track and kidney's.

It sounds like your guinea pig is a male. It's also an old guy. Both increase the chance that he's having issues with impaction. It means his poop is getting caught in his anal sac and you may have to clean it out for him.
