If there were ten birds on a fence and one was shot how many birds are left?

There would still be ten birds, just now one of them is shot. Poor birdie.

Answer 2

I would think the other nine birds would have flown away after hearing the shot, the only bird left would be the dead one - but I don't think it would still be on the fence unless it became hung up as it was falling.
