If you're 17 and your girlfriend is 16 and pregnant and her parents are trying to move is there any way to prevent her from going with them if she doesn't want to go?

I say you need to step up and be a man and tell them that you both are ready for the responsibility. If you are one of those decent guys out there you both need to talk with her parents to explain that you are the father and you have a right. And you definitely have that right. Don't try to corner them or anything but explain to them that you know that you're young but you're not going to run away from your responsiblility and you would be hurt if they tried to make the responsibility run from you. Hopefully they'll have a heart and see you sincerity and accept that fact. The fact is you have a child now and they should think about that child having his/her mother and father in their lives. Hope this helps you!!! when the babys born it is urs too so either way u'll be able to see her u do have custody

well if she does have it and still doesn't want to keep it for whatver reason, there are plenty of couples who can't have children who would gladly be the foster/adopted parents to the child.
