I live in TN, (Nashville). It is rape because he is more than 4 years older than you. Any child 13-18 can consent to sex with someone that is up to 4 years older than them. I don't think that they can do anything if no one says anything, especially if u are married( don't go get married though.) But the hospital where u give birth will notify child services. I am not an expert.
Yes, he can. He can be charged with statutory rape, which is a felony, even if you and your parents don't want him to be.
yes I'm in the same position so I'm not goin to put his name on the birth certifict nor tell them who the father is
Yes, press charges for stealing a pet ant i think ask a police officer
The parents cannot give you permission to break the law. Yes, you can be prosecuted and sent to jail.
In any state in the U.S. that is by far illegal. But in order to press charges the custodial parent or guardian would need to press charges. Of course there are other ways, you can always contact the police department where the child lives and ask for advice.
Absolutely! Press charges if it happens again. The hospital needs to step up security and put it in her file that they must ask you certain questions to verify that you are the one calling before allowing the call to be forwarded to your daughter.
press domestic violence charges and when it goes to cort tell the judge you want to be emancipated... you cant press charges until you get hit again...let the police take pictures of the marks then take your own pictures so you can show the judge....im sorry and good luckAnswergo to your county court house and get emancipation forms and when you get hit call the police and press domestic violence charges
NO THEY CAN NOT PRESS CHARGES IF YOUR PARENTS DON'T WANT TO AND YOUR BOYFRIEND HAS TO BE AT LEAST 4 OR 5 YEARS OLDER THAN YOU IN ORDER TO PRESS CHARGES
It depends on how old YOU were at the time....under 18 in most states, then yes they can press charges
No unless the minor wants to press charges
Your parent can press charges against him
Yes she can. You are a minor and he is an adult at 18 and in CA he can be charged with rape.
Yes he can, if the boyfriend has been having sexual intercourse with her and she is under the age of consent. That's assuming the father isn't having sex with her too.
YES! THE PARENT CAN FILE CHARGES AGAINST THE 18 YEAR OLD.IN FACT THE STATE CAN PICK UP THE CHARGES WITHOUT YOUR PARENTS CONSENT WHICH WOULD BE CORRUPION OF A MINOR. IT COULD BE RAPE CHARGES AGAINST THE 18 YEAR OLD!
Yes.
yes it is statuary rape and the state will press charges even if she consented
I would suggest doing it immediately. But it really depends on the state. Generally you first file a police report and then you have a year to press charges. Since you are pregnant, the police MAY do it for you, but you usually have to do it yourself.
Yes, they can request criminal charges be filed.
{| |- | The parents could be in trouble as well as the boyfriend. They cannot consent to breaking the law. In almost all states and countries, the legal age of consent is 16. Getting someone younger pregnant is going to be considered a crime, perhaps even statutory rape. |}
