well i recently called the DPS and they said that even though i was 17, i still would have 2 wait until my permit expired....i dont know if that helps or not....i just got my permit 2 months ago and i cant get my license til jan.20...so yeah i hope that helped answer ur question

Do you have to have your learners for 6 months if your 18? Can you drive alone with your learners permitt when your 6 months are up? In Alaska if you are 18 do you still have to have your permit for 6 months? If you are 16 when you get your learners permit how long do you have to wait to get your liscense in georgia? How long do you have to wait after you get your learners permit to get your liscence?
