Any type of chemicals can affect a baby at any point in pregnancy. Actually, I would say it could be more harmful early on because chance of miscarriage is still high. Smoking increases it even more.

∙ 14y agoPositive for what? He will probably test positive for mental and physical retardation at some point, as that is what usually happens to babies whose mothers smoked during pregnancy. If he was born after you smoked, he won't be positive for the drugs; if you did so beforehand, there is a good chance he will have something left in his body.
