It could be later today it could be 3 weeks from now. Just because you are dilated to something doen'nt mean labor is anytime soon...sorry.
I have been dilated to a 3 for 2 weeks now :(
I went to doctors 5 days ago and i was 2 centermiters dilated how long will it take before i am 4
I hope you are with a midwife or doctor because it should be soon.
If your cervix is really 4cm dilated (not sure what the 80 is) at 34 weeks you should be at the hospital as your baby could be born anytime and at 34 weeks your baby will be pre-term and need extra support.
Means your 4cm dilated and they can see your water through your cervix. So it can break any time. Just left labor and delivery tonight I'm also 4cm and bulging with baby number 3!!
worse than normal but as you say mildly dilated. keep up with yearly or every 2 year echocardiograms (with the gel and wand on your chest) to keep up with it... to see if it turns into moderately dilated aorta... then if it gets to severely dilated your Dr. may recommend a surgical intervention
No - not at all. You will begin to dilate around 36 weeks and you can go 6 weeks without dilating any further. Most women are 1-2 cm dilated for the last weeks of their pregnancy. I really don't know why the doctors tell you this - it just means you worry. If you get to 4cm dilated it probably means you will go into labour soon.
Yes (apart from units):If the side of a square is 4cm then itsperimeter is 4cm + 4cm + 4cm + 4cm = 4 x 4cm = 16cm;area is 4cm x 4cm = 16cm2
You could be dilated more. A LOT can happen to a cervix in the last weeks of pregnancy. I was in early labor for 5 days, dilated at 3cm. They admitted me when I finally got to 4cm (5 days after my first real contractions started) and I had the urge to push by 6 or 7cm. It took me a long time to get to 7, but then I shot straight to 10 in a matter of an hour or so. Not every woman or pregnancy is the same though. You should tell your doctor this, he/she might want to do an exam to see if you are dilated any more. You could be closer to your baby's birthday than you think sister! Enjoy these last few days!
4cm is a unit of length, so 4cm is 4cm long... but if you were asking how long 4cm is in inches, 4cm = about 1.5748031 inches
A Monarch butterfly's length can range from about 4cm as a baby to about 8cm as a full adult.
Especially if this is your first pregnancy, your body could take an unpredictable amount of time to get ready for labor. Generally, loss of the mucus plug means labor will start soon, but it could still be several days or more. It is not uncommon for a woman to be 2cm dilated for at least a few weeks at the end of pregnancy.
