until she is 18 is up to the govement and her unkel to let you adopt her but when she is 18 she as a say if she wants you to adopt her
At age eighteen you are beyond adoption, you would become emancipated (in the US).
If you have been emancipated you can. If you haven't, technically you cannot be adopted at seventeen without consent from them. Also, you're parents cannot kick you out at seventeen. It is illegal to do so until you are eighteen. You should look up emancipation if you have not already, it is when you can legally make your own choices in life and legally move out and pretty much be considered an adult before you turn eighteen. Hope this answers your question pretty well. If not, I hope it provided some insight into different options you may choose. can a miner who was adopted from the state of indiana become emancipated
If the judge allow you to be emancipated yes.
Richard Nixon was president when the voting age changed from 21 to eighteen (26th Amendment, adopted 1971).
yes u can
If your parents allow you too and your biological mother is willing.
Missouri with his adopted sister that was older than him by 2 years, Mary Hancock
No. There has to be proof of abuse, neglect etc. They won't give it to a teen that wants to hang out with someone that her dad does not want her to be with. If you really love her, you will wait for her and not help her get into trouble.
The status of the biological parents does not matter. Under the law, the adopted parents are in charge. If they aren't an adult, they live where they are told.
A pregnant minor or one who is already a parent is not emancipated apart from regarding their health or the child. And adopted children are legally like the biological ones to the adoptive parent. This means you are not emancipated until you are 18 and can only then decide where to go or move.
You cannot be adopted at 17 years old. Why would they want to adopt the father of their daughter's baby?
