If you are interested in taking whey protein but you do not work out too often would you still gain muscle and lose fat or would you have to work out more often and what kind of work out would you need to do? |
Answer
As an avid bodybuilder I am qualified to answer this: You will most definately gain excess weight depending on how much you take. Remember, too much of anything will metabolize into fat, even good quality protein. It's all about balance. Depending on what kind of results your looking to achieve pertaining to your body; I would substitute the whey protein into your diet in lieu of other types of protein. This will help you avoid all of the saturated fats that come with chicken and steak. If you like fish then your golden. Remember, the only way to build muscle tissue is through resistance exercise, ie. weight lifting, swimming, running, etc.
