If you believe in god very strongly is masturbation a sin?

Ya sorta. It depends on the god you believe in i guess... but since i believe in the Christian god, Yes it would be a sin to me. NOt only is masturbation a sin, but lustful thoughts are sins. Its hard because the whole world is trying to tempt you and tell that sex is what you need to be happy. Don't worry it is impossible to live without sinning. If you have done it once, you will probably do it again. I do it quite a bit, and always feel slightly crappy afterwards. God forgives you though. There are always spiritual things that we need to learn, don't try to force yourself to be perfect before you have had the spiritual experiance. Actually i think some people would be better off if they had some sort of release. (LIke those catholic priests who were molesters). Anyways don't qoute me on this, this is something that you need to take up with god himself. Good luck on finding your answer!
