All of your driving history is attached to your driver's license number which is in a global insurance reporting source called "C.L.U.E." Wherever you go, it will follow.
I don't know about international reporting, that sounds somewhat impossible especially circulating it through Asia or the Pacific countries.
Generally your established Insurance companies simply run your information through what is called the NCIC.. records containing just about everything there is to know about someone authored by the FBI who also decides just how much and what information is avalible to agencies requesting it, typically on a "need to know only" basis.
Anyway, only United States Insurance companies have access to such information and if you give an insurance company a false statement, not only are you breaking the law but they will drop your coverage, you'll get no money back, you'll never be able to apply with them again, and you need insurance right? What will you say to the next company when they ask why your last one got cancelled?
What it boils down to is tell the truth because these ins. agents are just testing your integrity by asking questions they can find the answer to with only your name, birthdate, and social security number.
If you're afraid of insurance approval, just keep shopping. It's not worth the consequences if a false detail is discovered.
