Depends on how experienced the mortician is.
A "fifth" is roughly one-fifth of a gallon, which has now been standardized to 750mL of alcohol.
40 proof indicates that it is 20% alcohol by composition.
A lot of factors go into alcohol processing. How well your metabolism works ... the amount of food in the stomach at the time ... body mass ... gender ... and more.
The general rule of thumb is that it takes about 1 hr to process 1 "unit" of alcohol. Which on average equals 8 oz of beer, 1 shot OR 2/3 glass wine.
There are about 16-17 shots of 1.5 oz in 750 mL of alcohol.
Based on that rule of thumb, it's looking like 16-17 hours.
However, at that quantity, passing out is very possible and metabolism slows down in that condition, which could lengthen time.
Not to mention ... consumption of that much alcohol in one sitting could very likely result in death. Please keep in mind that the "buzz" that alcohol creates is where the liver is no longer able to filter out the alcohol fast enough - which is TOXIC for brain function. As toxicity levels climb, the brain is able to function less and less (that is ... "drunk").
Passing out is the body's defense mechanism to force you from consciously consuming additional alcohol in order to prevent death.
However, sometimes people are able to drink it faster than the toxicity levels set in and the pass out only after lethal amounts are consumed.
Sorry for the sermon - I've unfortunately seen this happen with lesser amounts of vodka.
i just drank a fifth of vodka dare me to drive?

You will have a mixed vodka with somewhere between 30 and 40% ABV (estimated to be 35% ABV or 70 US proof)
On Youtube VEVO, they censor the video so that part is jumbled. In the uncensored version he says, "I just drank a fifth of vodka -- dare me to drive".

It depends on the proof of the vodka. For two (2) 1.5 ounce shots here are the calories: 70 proof: 170 calories 80 proof: 200 calories 90 proof: 230 calories 100 proof: 260 calories
