If you get a criminal record check and a warrant comes up can they arrest you while getting a record check done?

[Edit]

If you are inside of a law enforcement facility while having a check for warrants check, yes you will likely be arrested. If it is something extremely minor such as an expired pet tag or library fine, they 'may' give you a chance to go to booking and deal with it yourself. That couldn't be counted on though. For more serious infractions such as a higher misdemeanor or an felony, without a doubt they will pick you up.

If the background check is being done within the private sect and a warrant comes up, then it just a gamble of whether or not the person with the information decides to call you in and report you.
