There are 2 different firing orders for the 5.7 L engine,

If it is older then a late 1999 then here it is. Firing order-- 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 clockwise on DISTRIBUTOR CAP.

Driver's side head front to rear is 1-3-5-7 cylinder numbers.

The other head.........................is 2-4-6-8 ...........................

Now if it is newer then a 2000 then this is the fireing order. 1-8-7-2-6-5-4-3

The cylinder numbers are the same as above.

The way you have it wired is WRONG.
