If he is the one then trust me when I say you'll end up together eventually, if not (and you can love a great many people before finding 'the one') then you will find someone whom you love so much more. When you do find the one, the love will feel different, you will never have felt it before in all relationships past - and you'll know, without a shadow of a doubt this is him. This man may not be 'the one' but that's not to say you don't love him wholly and completely and it takes time to get past that and move on. Be strong and as it says below focus on your life and when love comes calling welcome it again.

So you love him but he doesn't love you back? TIME will soon make it clear for you. Everyone thinks that when it's time to part from someone they've "invested" in...until that next (and probably better for you) guy comes along. Focus on yourself, your goals, and your life. The pieces will fall into place. The past is meant to be behind you so keep it in it's place. Move on!
