In most cases when you attach any electronic device to your computer using a USB cable, it IS so that it can charge. In many other cases you will be able to do more with this connection, such as transfer files (video, pics, audio), edit contact lists (as with cell phones), and/or access online applications. What you can, and can't, do will be described in the manual of your device. If a USB cable has been included with this device it is safe to say you are on the right track.
If you can't find the manual, or never had one, go to Google (link is attached) and type in the brand name, model # and kind of device, and Manual. (For example. . ."Motorola Razor, V3xx, Cell Phone Manual"). You will be provided a list of links to your manual.

Flip makes the Flip Video Camera
Your flip camera has a USB plug on the "flip" part. If you can't figure this out, then take it back to the shop & ask them for a film camera as you may be better qualified to use that one.
a video camera
Because they have USB plugs that "flip" out from the camera and allow you to connect it directly to a PC. Also, the first flip camera was produced by Pure Digital Technologies, and was called the Flip Video.
Sure thing. That's possible.
No there isn't one on the flip video camera but there is a way to.
