A routine drug screen does not test for prescription medications, although benzodiazepines, barbiturates, and opioids will show up on the drug screen. Celexa may show up on an extended toxicology panel, however.

∙ 14y agoYes, Celexa does show up in drug tests. I'm currently on probation and also on Celexa. I fail my "Benzo" portion of the drug test every week.

∙ 14y agoCelexa is an SSRI, not a recreational substance. As such, it will not show up on any urine test unless one is being administered specifically to test for it.
