Is it OK to wear 8.7 base curve and 14.0 diameter soft disposable contacts if you are a 8.6 base curve and 14.2 diameter?

It would not be recommended that you wear 8.7 base curve and 14.0 diameter soft disposable contacts if that is not your prescription. Your eye doctor should order the correct size of 8.6 base curve and 14.2 diameter when he orders your new soft disposable contacts.

Can you clean hard contacts with soft contact solution?

Yes of course you can

Why do my contact lenses tear I am wearing month to month contactlenses but they keep on tearing and do not even hold for a week then they are taered or chipped?

You probably have soft contact lenses. They are very thin and can easily be ripped you will have to be more gentle with them. I have contacts that have to be changed every other month and they are soft contacts but i am gentle with them so they never rip. If you have hard contacts then they are probably low quality.

Is it possible to wear contact lens when playing soccer?

of course you can, providing they are soft contacts (actually even hard contacts if you have had them long enough). The only problem i can foresee is the sweat, and a simple headband would fix that! I am a nurse, and have worn contacts, all kinds for over 30 years, and have played every sport, done every surgery, etc., with them in., so..... play on!!

Opposite of hard?

Is a soft or hard football better for soccer style kickers?

Well for me it is rather a medium-soft then hard. Because hard hurts your feet and you will regret being it. So if I were you I would buy a soft ball!

What is the difference between a milkshake straw and a soft drink straw?

Milkshake straws are larger in diameter than soft drink straws. Since milkshakes are thick, they are very hard to drink with a small straw, thus the increased diameter of the straw makes it easier to drink.

Is brown soft or hard?

Hard

What is the opposite of soft?

Soft means yielding readily to touch or pressure, easily penetrated or changed in shape. The opposite would be hard, solid and firm to the touch.

Can I clean soft contacts with hard contact solution?

Yeah I just did it and it worked fine. Make sure you rinse your contact off with cold water after using the hard contact solution, because it is thick almost like a gel and I don't know that it would feel great in your eye.

What is the difference between caring for a soft contact lense and a hard contact lense?

Cleaning Hard contacts and soft contacts are very easy and similar. For soft contact cleaning, you must first wash your hands. This is so the oil and dirt on your hands don't ruin your contacts. Then remove one contact and place it in the palm of your hand with a few drops of contact solution. Rub the contact with your fingers for atleast 10 seconds to remove all the dirt. Then poor a few more drops of solution on the contact to rinse it. Put the contact back in it's case and repeat with the other contact. Hard contacts are very similar. The only difference is, after you rub them clean, instead of rinsing them with solution, rinse them with tap water. After placing contacts back in their place, be sure to fill the case with solution so they won't get dry.
