If your baby snapper has stopped eating and you are feeding her water turtle food but you recently gave her a bigger aquarium could this be the problem? |

Answer
There are a few things that could cause this, first, was the food changed? water turtles can be especially picky, if you change food you would have to do it gradually. Does the turtle have a heat lamp? They are cold blooded and would need to bask or at least have the light on during the hours of daylight, this gives them vitamins that regular light can not produce. Nothing major is needed, just a small lamp and a 60w "heat lamp" bulb, (the bulb is important you can't use a regular bulb) The other major thing is that turtles have to feel secure when they are eating, they like fake plants, you don't need alot of them but some around where you feed them so they feel safe. Hopefully this will help you out. :P
