I don't know what file 1386 is. If the file you are referring to is Eddy.1386 then it is a small memory-resident virus that infects only .exe files. The size of infected files is increased by 1386 bytes. You sure don't want this back. If you are referring to a file associated with the printer software, then un-install and re-install the printer software.

Is it possible you are being asked for I386 (that is eye-386 rather than one-386)? This is the folder which contains all the Windows .CAB files, from which various system files can be extracted when needed. Many driver and app installs need some of these files during the install process. You will find it on your Windows CD. You need only to insert the CD into the drive, cancel any autorun that starts, and browse to the CD to find it. Once you point the installer to the I386 folder, it will find what it needs from there. It is common to copy this folder to your hard drive for convenience, if you have plenty of room.
