Not necessarily! It could just be an irritation or allergy. "Pink Eye" is a bacterial infection that require antibiotic eye drops. If your eye is burning without a nasty looking drainage it is more than likely an irritation or allergy. If your eye is burning and you have a headache and it hurts to blink you might have a corneal abrasion. Best thing to do when it concerns your eye and it has lasted more than 24 hrs is to have it checked by Doctor.
