If your steering wheel is vibrating do you need an alignment?

Answer

Your wheels could be out of alignment; however, it is probably your wheels are out of balance. I would have this checked and repaired, if it is not fixed this will cause your tires too wear faster.

Answer

If the steering wheel vibrates during braking the rotors are out of round and either need to be replaced or resurfaced.

Another possibility if it occurs during non-braking situations a seperated tire could be a possibility.

Answer

Alignment does NOT cause vibrations. Not to say that you may need one. Abnormal tire wear is a good possibility that may stem from not rotating your tires on time. Need more info as to when this is happening to answer appropriatly.
