In Pokemon pearl I am trying to evolve my Riolu I have given it the soothe bell I have evolved it by 1 level during the day and fed it poffins etc But it still won't evolve can anyone help me?

try finding a lot of hownydew berries they raise friendship.once you feed him them unntil it says it won't have any effect,then level him up in the daytime.
i personally just leveled him up without anything to raise friendship
well i just kept leveling mine up to about level 23 and it just evolved the other day and it only had to small hearts also if your thinking of using him in the Pokemon legue you might want to use him all the time so he gets to about level 60 otherwise hes useless hope i helped (also if he hasent evolved by level 30 or higher you may have a glitch in your game)

riolu evolves through happiness, and when it is max happy, it has to level up in the daytime. Try to get him happy by -The girl in veilstone who gives your Pokemon massages once per dayWalking with it in your party while holding the item Soothe BellLeveling it upGiving it items like Protein, Carbos, HP up...Do not let it faint, and do not put it in your PCLetting it battleAll of the walking and such is definitely worth it, as lucario is a very strong Pokemon
