I spoke to one of my connections in North Carolina who is an Attorney. According to him, once you drive it off the lot, you can not return the car and it belongs to you. I needed to find the answer to this question because my parents recently purchased a truck, which wasn't the best decision for the family. Not to mention, the interest rate on the truck was 17%. Needless to say, refinancing is the only option that we can consider at this point. I really encourage people to shop around, do their research, and evaluate everything before making such a large purchase.
