It was a bear I suppose. I think that because I watched the movie Winnie the pooh!

The first bit is more or less correct, the two Pooh books were based on A.A. Milne's son's soft toys; but the film is a recent Disney version. The book came first by several decades - and Pooh did not wear a jacket in the original illustrations.
