Yes. Only marraige can make the alimony dissolve. However, your ex can take you to court and have the alimony reduced if he can prove your situation has improved by moving in with someone. It has happened and I have seen it go both ways.

However, I think there is a difference [at least in some states] between alimony, and child support. Child support IS for children, but alimony is support for a spouse, and under some state laws can be required to be paid by either spouse, depending on the couple's financial circumstances.
