In the eukaryotic cell it has many membrane bound organelles like mitochondria, golgi apparatus and a nucleus. It could have unicellular organelles and could also have multi cellular organelles.

Chromosomes are present mainly in the nucleus of eukaryotic cells, although most eukaryotes possess smaller, circular chromosomes in their mitochondria. In some species, cytoplasmic chromosomes are also present.

There are simply too many things that are found in a eukaryotic cell, but the basic structures and molecules are:

  • Plasma membrane (or phospholipid bilayer)
  • Proteins (integral, enzymes, hormones, etc)
  • DNA
  • RNA
  • Nucleus
  • Ribosomes
  • endoplasmic riticulum (rough and smooth)
  • Chloroplasts (only in plants and some protists)
  • cell wall (only found in plants and fungi)
  • Lysosomes (only found in animals)
  • Vacuole (the large central vacuole is only found in plants)
  • Golgi apparatus
  • Mitochondria
  • Centriole (only in animals)
  • Microtubules
  • Microfilaments
  • Intermediate filament
  • Ions (sodium, potassium, etc.)
  • Water
  • CO2
  • Glucose

What is cytoskelton?

A cytoskeleton is the structure or skeleton of a cell. A cytoskeleton is found within a cell's cytoplasm, and is present in all cells, prokaryotic and eukaryotic.

What type of cell is nucleus found in?

A eukaryotic cell is one of two different types of cells. Organisms that are based on the eukaryotic cell are called β€œeukaryotes” and include plants, animals, fungi, and protists. The only organisms that are not based on the eukaryotic cell are organisms based on a prokaryotic cell structure. It is the only cell that contain a nucleus.

Which cell structure is found in all cells?

A cell membrane (a cell wall in plants). Ribosomes are found in prokaryotic cells, and eukaryotic cells have such features as the nucleus, vacuoles, and mitochondria, as well as many specialized organelles.

Which is the largest organelle within a eukaryotic cell?

A large, double membrane-bound organelle found in eukaryotic cells. Contains DNA and RNA. Organelle - A membrane-bound sub-cellular structure found in eukaryotic cells. The Cell nucleus, mitochondria, ER, and golgi apparatus are all examples.
