A Liebig condenser is about the most simple condenser going. It has a gas or vapor pathway that is enclosed by a jacket of through which a cooling fluid (water, maybe) is passed. The cooling fluid cools the outer surface of the vapor tube and this cooling effect reaches the inner wall of the vapor tube to cool the vapor and cause it to condense. Because in a Liebig condenser water is allowed to flow from the cold tap through the water jacket. Here water takes the heat away from the hot vapour and causes it to condense.

The Liebig condenser is more efficient than the simple distillation apparatus because it has a large surface area and water is usually allowed to flow from the cold tap.

Liebig condenser is a glass tube surrounded by a glass chamber called water jacket. During the distillation process, water is allowed to flow from the cold tap through the water jacket and down the sink. The water takes away the heat from the hot vapour in the test tube of the condense and causes condensation. Then the vapour will cool down and the water will get collected in the flask and salt will be left in the other flask where you heated the salt water

The liebig condenser is used in distillation. It allows cold water to run in the condenser so that the vapour passing through it can condense.

How do you draw a Liebig condenser or What is the Liebig condenser's internationally known symbol?

If you just draw a schematic representation of it (it's basically a tube inside another tube), most people (at least those that have any hope of understanding the drawing as a whole) will understand what it is. I'm not sure that there's an "official" symbol for it. I can't really draw things here, but check the related links; any chemist would immediately recognize the condenser in that drawing even without the label.Since the Liebig condenser is the simplest possible type, you don't need to do anything "special" to represent it.
