Punishments for breaking these "laws" differ place to place.

Look up BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) in your area to find out if you are affected. There are also proposals of bans in other places. Find out if they are in your area and fight them.

... there should be a ban on the breed in every state and all countries across the globe! I owned two Pitbulls, took them to obedience classes and got them the same month my daughter was born. They had their own room, were taken around other people and played with my daughter, under supervision, of coarse! I had them for five years before they attacked and tried to kill my daughter. Beasly grabbed her arm and Munchy held her leg, (stupid names, huh?") so I shocked them with my stun gun. I forced my daughter to run. They attacked me, so I killed them with my pistol. They never were abused. They were treated like our children! The police said there was nothing else I could had done. Point being! Pits can't be trusted! Not only that, but many places won't rent to you if you own one! Oh! And insurance companies won't insure you if you own the hell hounds neither.

See that is the problem with people owning pit bulls, they treat them as humans! they are not humans, they are animals. If someone owns a Pit Bull, it isn't just simply taking them to obedience training. People need to learn to treat dogs as dogs. They need to become the "pack leader" and set the rules out of the house. For example, letting the dog enter or exit the house before you is like telling the dog it is in charge. Letting the dog jump on you is the dog saying, "I am the leader". Never let a puppy growl, play tug, or shake their toys violently. There is a lot of things people do not know about how to live properly with dogs. NEVER treat a dog like a human (no I am not saying to abuse them). They are not humans. If you don't show the dog and demonstrate to a dog that you are the pack leader, they will begin to play that role since you are not. This could possibly lead to aggression and biting.

I LOVE PIT BULLS!!!!!

A list could take a day to write. What you need to do is to go to your search engine type your city and type pitbulls laws after that. The search result will tell you the status of the pitbull breed in your city.
