A man is not allowed to be a midwife. That is why the term midwife is used. Also it is illegal for some one to use a midwife except for in three states. Once the health care reform bill passes no one will be allowed to be a midwife. You will have to us an ob/gyn as required by the other 47 states. In Japan and Canada it is also not allowed for a man to be a midwife. Men tried to challenge this for years. In the UK there are midwives that are men but they are called men-midwives. There are not very many of them either. If a man wants to work in the medical field as a health care provider for women than he needs to go to medical school and become an ob/gyn instead of trying to take the easy way out and invade upon an area that was and is only intended for women. Midwives do not know how to safely deliver a bay either and that is why doctors are the right choice. Obama sees that and is going to fix it all. You midwives and male nurses need to get real jobs.
