Besides automatic dishwashing detergent? 3/4 teaspoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Place both in the dispenser and close the cap. Itโs better than nothing if you donโt have detergent for the dishwasher.
No if it is the dish washing soap for the sink. The liquid dishwasher soap can be used.
Cascade has a new product out called Cascade Complete Pacs and they are offering a $.50 off coupon. This can be found at http://www.cascadeclean.com/en_US/home.do.
I think it does. You don't get spots with cascade.
There are multiple dish washer coupons available online. Cascade has some great discounts available on their products.

In this day and age, most people own a dishwasher. However, as the popularity of dishwashers has grown, so has the price of Dishwasher Detergent. After seeing commercials each day that promise that brand name detergent simply does the job right, you may be skeptical to buy generic detergent. In reality, generic detergent contains the same ingredients, is less expensive and does the job of cleaning dishes just as effectively as its counterpart.
Run your dishwasher with jet dry or a dishwasher cleaning product with nothing in it.
Cascade dishwashing liquid is a good choice. They also have a product called Cascade rinse aid especially designed to remove spots if you have hard water. Pre rinsing the dishes before washing also might help.

You should not use laundry detergent in your dishwasher. It produces too many suds and the dishes will not rinse correctly.
