Installation of Microsoft office 2010 requires msxml version 6.10.1129.0?

When I ran the setup of Office 2010, I get this error:
"Setup is unable to proceed due to the following error(s).
The installation of Microsoft office 2010 requires that msxml version 6.10.1129.0 be installed on your computer. Install the component and re-run the setup.Correct the issue(s) and re-run the setup."
Then when I ran the setup of that MSXML version, it says I have a newer version and must uninstall the newer version first.
How do I fix the error?

you have to download the Microsoft MSXML 6.0. I had the same error an downloaded it from MSN under the following link and then the setup worked:
