It's not that it's better, it somewhat different. If you are confused about 3D then that's a different story. LED is a type of image producing lighting behind the TV screen. This lighting produces brighter colors, produces less heat, and makes for a very clear and precise picture.
You can have 3D on a LCD, LED, or Plasma TV that doesn't matter. But if you're really asking if 3D is better on LED than on a LCD or Plasma then that is personal choice. Many believe that even though LED has a better picture quality, Plasma beats it in 3D. However, as with all new electronics, things just get better and better and those who believed that Plasma takes 3D will probably notice a BIG change in Samsung's new 75" LED 3D TV that will be out this year.
So to answer your question if that is really your question, then I would say yes because 3D LED is the way of the future and bigger tv's are the way to veiw them. Pretty soon almost every movie out there is going to be 3d so do you want to be the one watching them or wishing you could watch them?
