Is Amblyopia Hereditary?

Answer:
Amblyopia itself is not a hereditary condition as it refers to the development of the eye and is not in itself a physical condition.

Some physical conditions, such as cataracts can be hereditary and these can cause a form of amblyopia (stimulus deprivation amblyopia)

In short, ampbylopia is not hereditary but some conditions which cause it can be.
