America is not heading toward a fascist-theological society whatever that might be. The left has been screaming such alarms for years and years. Nothing has come of it. The way America might be heading is toward the creation of a new political party. The right wing has taken over the Republican Party. The left wing has taken over the Democrat Party. A new party could form from the center. If it does, it would probably take over Congress.
