Is American Military University accredited?

amu is not on the U.S. department of educations list of accreddited schools. check it out
http://www.ope.ed.gov/accreditation/Search.asp

I am curious myself. The school sounds too good to be true.

The search terms are incorrect; Look up "American Public University System" AMU is just one school of I believe three that are under APUS. So yes, AMU is in-fact an Nationally Accredited school through it's parent system.
