Aquarius - Pisces : A blending of intellect and emotions can be perfect. Well from what I keep reading...no. As far as all the astrological information goes "Pisces is much too emotional for the analytical Aquaruis"...or something like that. BUT I (a Pisces) have been dating an amazing Aquarius man for a little over a month now. I know it's new, and I know that relationships often start out good and then change as time goes on...but this is the best relationship I have ever been in in my life, and I'm 38 years old. This man has gotten into my heart like nobody ever has, he's an amazing communicator, a wonderful father, he's smart, he's funny, he has no problem talking about his feelings (or anything else for that matter). Unless things somehow drastically change as time goes on I'm pretty sure this is the start to a wonderful, amazing relationship. So, like I said, from everything I've read, Nope, they shouldn't get along...but from everything I'm feeling, It's a great match.

∙ 13y agoThere are two schools of thought when it comes to compatibility with Aquarius. Aquarius (an air element) would first be attracted to other air elements (Aquarius, Gemini, Libra) because they would initially understand each other quite well. It was originally believed that after that air elements would be attracted to the fire elements (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) but sometimes this can cause too much energy within a relationship.
The other school of thought is that air and earth elements (Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo) both address life situations with logic first and emotion second while fire and water elements (Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio) address life with emotion first and logic second. Neither method is superior over the other. They also tend to be fairly opposite in energy level and therefore lend to the relationship a variety of positive traits.

The first rule of thumb is that fire and air signs go together well, and that water and earth signs go together well. Pisces is a water sign, and Aquarius is an air sign. Air signs will usually find water signs overemotional and needy, whereas water signs will find air signs to be flaky and insensitive.
Now, Astrology is a little deeper than your sun sign. I'm a Gemini. Most of my friends have been water signs. I thought that was weird until I did my birth chart and discovered that my next three major signs (Moon, Mercury, and Venus) are all in Cancer, a water sign. That may be why I have an easier time getting along with water signs compared to other air sign people.
There's more to relationships than astrology. Plenty of people would say that astrology has nothing to do with it at all. If you two are happy together, that's great. If you're not happy together, either find a way to resolve your problems (mediators are good for this) or break it off. If you're a Pisces who's crushing hard on an Aquarius who doesn't even know you exist: 1) tone down the perfect couple talk so as not to scare them off; 2) attract them by showing off your mind. Air signs love smart people.
