Being a Christian means you believe in the Holy Trinity...God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. It also means you accept Jesus as your Savior and you confess your sins and accept your flawed.

Just because Beyonce went/goes to church and was a decent woman at one time doesn't mean she was ever a true believer of Christ. She can say anything. Or maybe at one point she was a Christian and decided to turn her back on Jesus because she decided being famous, rich and powerful was more important than living life for God. People turn their back on God all the time.....luckily he still forgives them no matter what they have done.

About Beyonce

Her recent videos are self-centered, ego-centric, about money and sex, and have a lot of negative overtones. There's also alot of occultic symbolism in her videos especially since she's been with Jay-Z. Her song Best Thing I Ever Had includes profanity, Naughty Girl is exactly how it sounds, and she is half-naked on some of her albums. (I could go on with this, you know)

I think it's definitely obvious that Beyonce' has gone way beyond compromising her Christianity if she ever was one. It's a real shame because she has actual talent.

But no one is perfect! I am aware of that. However, there is a big difference between mistake and lifestyle. Her lifestyle does not reflect Christ at all.

Beyonce spoke in The Son Christian newspaper recently about her faith. Identified as "a devout Methodist," part of the article by Charlotte Webster read, "The former Destiny's Child singer said, 'I never mixed Christianity with how I felt (about him). I am about faith and spirituality more so than religion. Doing right by others and not judging. The thing that keeps me grounded is knowing that I'm always protected and that God is in control of things. Even the name of our group, Destiny's Child, we got out of The Bible. . . For me it is about the way I carry myself and the way I treat other people. My relationship and how I feel about God and what he does for me is something deeply personal. It's where I came from. I was brought up in a religious household and that's very important to me.'"

The article continued, "While her sexy dance routines have been criticised by some, Beyonce is confident God isn't offended by her 'shaking her booty'. After meeting Prince Charles in a charity concert in London she denied any contradiction between her raunchy approach and personal faith. She said, 'I honestly believe he wants people to celebrate their bodies so long as you don't compromise your Christianity in the process.'"
