According to the website About.com, there had been claims that hip-hop/R&B star Ciara was born a man and is either a transvestite or underwent a sex-change operation to become a transsexual. Not true. She did, however, state that she was gay on BET’s 106 and Park in a precedent-setting event for cable television. Since then, she has dated singer Bow Wow. So it would be safe to assume that Ciara was born a woman and that she is bi-sexual.
