Is Clindamycin HCL used in treating prostate infections?

using 150 mg. clindamycin .....11 out of 20 pills...doe not seem to be helping.

I've taken clindamycin for tooth infections before. Though, I had to ask my dentist specifically for clindamycin, because amoxicillin does not work well enough for me to clear up the infection.
