Well on the TV series Miley wanted to be a star but she also wanted a normal life so she made herself an alter ego called Hannah Montana so she could be a star and be a normal girl.
She auditions in the Hannah Montana show when she was 12 years old and she tried out for Lily but she made it for Miley and Miley was going to be Zoey like Zoey 101 but they changed it!
