Answer:
Yes and No
Both Islam and Jewish religions originated from one God (Allah in Arabic) No name in Hebrew. Monotheism- the one and only one God with no partner, no companion, no son, and no associate
Muslims believe in the 2nd life and in the Day of Judgment where one is accepted in God Paradise per God mercy or to be pushed in Hell fire.
Jews don't believe in this hell fire, and Jews do not place a heavy emphasis on the afterlife. you live here and now and your actions are reflectyed in this world.
The two religions also differ regarding marriage, divorce, inheritance, etc...
And the MAJOR HUMUNGOUS DIFFERENCE....
ISLAM, as all other religions including Christianity, accept convert to/from other religion.
However, JEWS DO NOT TRY or WANT TO CONVERT ANYBODY, they do not actively seek to convert people, in fact if you want to become a Jew, it's hard as heck- the rabbi must deny you 3 times and once he agrees a long process of learning and preparation is involved. Then once you are an official Jew AWESOME! let's say le-chaim and celebrate with a bottle of kosher wine!
