John Deacon isn't dead. He is retired from the music industry now, and anything for that matter. After Freddie died, John was so depressed. Then when Brian and Roger joined up with Paul Rogers to form Queen+Paul Rogers, John was invited to join, but was so opposed to the idea that he shut off even Brain and Roger. He is currently living out his retirement happlily and his two of his sons recently (2008) got married!!
