In 1985, the surviving members of Led Zeppelin reformed to perform at Live-Aid, with Phil Collins & The Late Tony Thompson ( Ex- Power Station ) replacing John Bonham on drums. Then in 1987, Zeppelin reformed again to perform at Atlantic Records Anniversary , with John Bonham,s son Jason, replacing his dad on drums. The band then performed at Jason Bonham,s wedding several years later. Apparently, there have been rumours circulating regarding a Led Zeppelin reunion for several years. The reunion was a one -time performance to celebrate the life of Atlantic Records founder, Ahmet Ertegun, who died in late 2007 after hitting his head while attending a Rolling Stones concert.
