Indeed it is! Organic Valley's standards exceed others in the dairy business for both handling & feeding of the cows. Other organic milk suppliers have been fined numerous times for "breakning the rules" and source their milk form huge 'industrial' milk farms. In Wisconsin, at least, most Organic Valley cows have access to pasture--an important compnent of both milk quality and cow health. Also, Organic Valley is a cooperative so their farmers get more pay for their hard work!
