Is Paul Volcker Jewish?

Answer:
Yes. He was born in 1927 to a Jewish family in Cape May, New Jersey, at the very southern tip of the state, but he grew up in Teaneck, NJ. Mr. Volcker attended Princeton University, Harvard, and the London School of Economics. He served as Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board under Presidents Carter and Reagan. More recently, he has been Chairman of the Economic Recovery Advisory Board under President Obama.
