Shaun white is just the most recognized snowboarder in the World, he is nowhere near as good as some riders. He is Burtons Poster Child, and he does a good job of that. You have to realize that a lot of snowboarders refuse to take part in competitions, so there goes many of the great riders. Shaun is only good at halfpipe, every other aspect of snowboarding he is average at best. Guys like Travis Rice, Terje haakonsen, Eero Ettala, Jussi Oksanen are all far better than him on rails, in the park in general, and most improtantly in the backcountry powder. Only the people who only watch commercials and competitions believe shaun is the best because he's the only snowboarder they know.
